The PanRoll170 is mounted at the bottom of a Z-arm by a flange. It creates a 2D rotational motion, i.e. around a vertical axis (Pan), and around a horizontal axis (Roll).
The Unit is due to high stiffness and accuracy able to support an arm with measurement equipment in the wind flow. All cables for control and measurement are guided internally. The arm is also mounted on the PanRoll170 with a flange
