A traversing system consists of:
- Traverse gear and control cabinet - Probe manipulator - Control PC with software - Handheld remote control - Interface to the building
The product delivery is based on turn-key solutions, where the above items are integrated and installed at site.
Typically a measuring probe is positioned by the traverse. The primary design goal is to achieve a high stability and a high position accuracy of the probe in the wind. A lot of skills are necessary to optimize these properties.
- Finite Element Analysis. - Building analysis to give recommendations for improving the stiffness of the building. - Rail adjustment system. - Laser-interferometric system to align the traverse after installation.
The specific application requirements has resulted in a custom-designed technology, able to fulfill important needs.
