The backbone in the design of the traverse system, is the computer calculations of Finite Element Models.
All loads, stiffness and support of elements, are carefully calculated and inserted in the model.
Also "dummy" loads as motors, cables and other parts that are not belonging to the bearing structure, are regarded.
The model is then passed through a global optimization.
